Little Art Store’s mission is to make it convenient, accessible & fun for you to begin drawing, even if you have little or no experience. We also strive to promote the use of drawing media in all its wonderful forms!

About Lisa

Lisa is the "Art" side of Little Art Store. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and since the age of about 4 she considered her crayons and paints to be her prized possessions. She is a mostly self-taught artist whose favorite mediums are "anything you can hold in your hand" and work directly on the paper with. Although her favorite is colored pencil, she is currently studying (and loving) charcoal, graphite pencil, and oils as well. She and her husband Steve opened Little Art Store to share her passion for dry mediums and give beginners convenience, inspiration, and a place to start.

About Steve

Steve is the "Store" side of Little Art Store. He is a Navy veteran who grew up in Morton Grove, Illinois. Since his Navy days he has become a knowledgeable systems administrator, and in charge of making sure Little Art Store's site runs smoothly (doesn't crash!). He is also a self-proclaimed computer geek, and feels right at home taking computers apart and putting them back together.  He and his wife Lisa have been married since 1995 and live in beautiful Lake in the Hills, Illinois.
